Ukraine published drawings of “The Wall” on border with Russia.
Kiev plans for the border territory [a wall] with earth and concrete ditches, towers and electronic-optical systems of tracking.

The “Wall”, which shall separate Ukraine from Russia, will be due equipped in fortification-construction fashion.

The project means some construction-complexities levels depending on how “problematic” this or that zone is counted by Kiev officials. By default, in the border territory there will be ditches and shaft, towers and electronic systems of supervision.

The first option is developed for such territories whit a quite situation. In particular, it concerns a border zone in the Sumy and Chernigov area. Judging by the model, there will be no real construction for the wall-section of that territory. The Ukrainian authorities shall limit it only with a lateral […] 6 meter width, and also towers with systems of optical supervision and an alarm system.

For those areas where the situation is called “difficult” by Kiev, an strengthened of the walls are projected. Except the lateral road, there will be ditches up to three in-depth here, and up to two meters wide.

In some places, on a plan of the Ukrainian frontier guards, ditches can be filled with water. If the violator is able to overcome this barrier, it will follow a metal protection system equipped with motion-sensors.

As reported LifeNews earlier, Ukraine can block 500 km of border with Russia already today. It is about the territory along the Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov and Lugansk areas.
