The Russian Foreign Ministry reacted to the statement of the Minister of Defence of Ukraine Valery Geletey who reported that Russia threatens in case of continuation of “anti-terrorist” operation on Donbass to use the tactical nuclear weapon against Ukraine.

 

“Degree of adequacy of the head of the military of the department of Ukraine which published the mentioned post on the page on Facebook, – a subject for research of experts not in military area”, – it is said in the statement the Ministry of Foreign Affairs published on the site of the ministry.

 

“It is hardly believed that similar statements can belong to the Minister of Defence of the civilized state. Otherwise, simply it isn’t clear how tens of thousands of Ukrainian families could entrust this official of life of the children, brothers and husbands mobilized in the Ukrainian army on fratricidal war in own country”, – it is told in the message.

 

We will remind that earlier the Minister of Defence of Ukraine Valery Geletey wrote on the page on Facebook that “on informal canals the Russian side already several times threatened that in case of continuation of resistance, they are ready to use against us the tactical nuclear weapon”.
